Hello, RHES Families!
Summer may still be in full swing, but we are nearing the start to the 24-25 school year! For students and families who are new to the district, we are excited to meet you. For those who have been with us at RHES, we look forward to seeing you again!

As we gear up for the new school year, I wanted to make you aware of an important event we have planned. This year, we are going to have a BACK TO SCHOOL AND SUPPLY DROP-OFF event on August 28th. Students in all grade levels can meet their teachers and drop-off their supplies from 5:00-6:00 PM. Many other community organizations will also be at the school beginning at 4:30 PM, including the Niagara County Sheriff's Department, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, the RHES PTA, Little Critters Extended Day Program, the Middleport Library, the Zion Church food pantry, and many other organizations. We will also have FREE snow cones for students in the front circle of the school.

In order for RHES to continue making positive changes, we need to have many voices involved in the decision-making process. If you have a moment, I would appreciate you taking a brief survey letting me know your priorities, your feedback, and your ideas to help pave a positive path forward. You can access the survey here: bit.ly/rhessurvey24

As always, THANK YOU for your continued support, your dedication, and the positive relationships that you have built with the school .

Event list for the year
The event list for the 24-25 school year is here! This will give you an overview of the holidays, events, and school dates you need to know.

Volunteer at RHES
Looking ahead to our upcoming school year, we are asking for volunteers to help in the cafeteria during lunch time.

We have a VERY flexible schedule that offers many opportunities for any adult to come in and spend some time with our students. You may pick the specific days and times that work for you!

If you have any questions, please feel free to email our PTA President, Mrs. Waterman at cwaterman@royhart.org.

Updated Student Handbook
The RHES School Handbook has been updated throughout the summer. Through our school surveys and conversations with many of you last school year, we received wonderful feedback. Many of the questions and comments helped us to make the modifications to our handbook. I urge you to read through the discipline, RTI, report card, and arrival/dismissal sections of the handbook before we begin the new year.

We will also be using a new communication platform called ParentSquare. You can find more information in the handbook about how to access this content.

Transportation Requests
You will be receiving hard copies of the information in this communication soon. With this, you will also be receiving a transportation request for your child. Please fill this out and return ASAP to the bus garage/main office as soon as possible,

If you have any questions, comments, or challenges, please reach out to us at any point.

We will see you very soon!
